Blockparty Dashboard Design
Team: Cyrus (UX/UI Designer), Kerel Lacy (Front-End Developer), Paavan Chopra (Back-End Developer)

Overview
Blockparty provides a beautiful yet simple event organization dashboard with built-in payment processing, analytics, reports, and ambassador management. The web app allows event organizers to manage and track sales with real-time reporting and analytics from their desktop.

Challenges
The event ticketing industry is a complex and established industry monopolized by big companies like Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, and StubHub. We decided to get our shares in the market by doing the exact opposite of what they have to offer for a long time. Blockparty's dashboard cuts out all the unnecessary fields a user needs to fill out in order to create an event. Our biggest challenge is to provide a simple yet robust system that satisfies user needs but doesn't feel intimidated.

UX Research
We first started providing the service explicitly for big event enterprises that hold large scale events every year. But our UX research shows that a lot of small crypto organizations are interested in holding small scale meetups, conferences and events but not be able to find an easy way to get started. Instead of creating events on Facebook or Eventbrite, over 70% of interviewees are interested in using a platform that can provide a secure and easy solution to their needs. Providing a free version of our service to the general public also aligns with our goals to expand the client base, improve market reach and increase event volumes.

Solution
We decided to allow users to sign up as an event organizer with simple steps. And they will be able to create their first event in a 3-step form to start listing their event on our website and start promoting their events. Once the event is pushed live users can track sales and data in our metrics dashboard easily and settle payments after each event.
Event Creation
Event creation is the primary function to start organizing an event. Instead of a long list of info to fill out which could scare users away from completing their first task, I decided to split the creation process into 3 easy steps - Event Details, Ticket Details and Listing preview.

Events Page
This an overview page of all event a user created. User can quickly go into each event dashboard to track their real-time data to get first-hand insights in order to take full control of their marketing and sales strategy.

Ambassador Page
Ambassador page allows the organizer to generate promo codes and monitor sales from each promoter.

Orders Page
This is an overview of all sales from your events. Users can export the list to CSV and search client list from the search bar.
